Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Tatarstan Sariya Saburskaya voted in the election of deputies to the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan

“The election of deputies to the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan is the most important social and political event for the republic. These elections will determine the development strategy of the republic for the next 5 years. The deputies of the new convocation will have a difficult job. In the conditions of a special military operation, sanctions pressure, information attacks and the global crisis in general - the decisions of the Parliament will be of decisive importance for the well-being of residents, economic stability, protection of national values, priorities, inter-confessional peace and harmony”, - said Sariya Saburskaya, casting her vote.

Today, September 08, 2024, 100 deputies of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan will be elected. 50 deputies are elected by party lists, another 50 - by single-mandate constituencies. In this regard, Tatarstan residents will receive two ballots at polling stations: in one they will choose a party, in the second - a candidate in their district.

The Republic of Tatarstan is traditionally famous for the high political activity of our citizens, high turnout at elections, as well as stability and continuity of the course.
