The appeal is decided collegially
Citizens' appeals find their solution within the framework of cooperation between the Commissioners for Human Rights in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation
I received an appeal from citizen A. about the restriction on entry to the village Korotkovo of Volzhsky Municipal District of the Republic of Mari El during tourist rafting on the route Krasnogorsky - Korotkovo. The author reported that a barrier was installed at the entrance, thus limiting access to the village for tourists and tourist buses.
I sent an appeal to the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Mari El to make a decision on this issue.
As part of the consideration of the request, the appeal was sent to the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Mari El and the Volga Interregional Environmental Prosecutor's Office. The inspection materials of the Mari Interregional Environmental Protection Prosecutor's Office were sent to the inter-municipal department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia “Volzhsky”.
As a result of consideration of the appeal, the barrier was dismantled.
