Thanks to the intervention of the Ombudsman of Tatarstan, defects in the facade of a residential building were eliminated

An integral part of observing the housing rights of citizens is to ensure favorable and safe living conditions for citizens in an apartment building.
The report on the activities of the Commissioner in 2023 highlighted the appeal of citizen F., a resident of Bugulma, about the poor quality of repair work on the facade of an apartment building as part of the capital repair carried out in 2021.

In order to assist the applicant, we appealed to the State Housing Inspectorate of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Housing and Communal Services Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan with a request to take measures aimed at eliminating violations in carrying out capital repair works of the common property in the apartment building within the warranty period.

Thanks to joint work the arguments of the author of the appeal were heard, works on elimination of the revealed violations in connection with necessity in view of certain weather conditions by the contracting organization are planned till July 2024. The appeal remained on our control.

Recently we received information from the Housing and Utilities Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan about the contractor organization's work to eliminate the identified defects on the facade of the apartment building.
