Workshop on a citizen's appeal
The work of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Tatarstan is based on close cooperation with state and local authorities in order to effectively address the problems of citizens who have applied to us.
Today the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Tatarstan with the participation of the assistant prosecutor of Kazan and a representative of the Committee of Housing and Communal Services of the Executive Committee of the Municipal Executive Committee of Kazan held a working meeting on the appeal of citizen F., a resident of Kazan, about disagreement with the refusal of the Committee of Housing and Communal Services of the Executive Committee of the Municipal Executive Committee of Kazan to conclude with her son an additional agreement to the contract of social rent of residential premises.
Earlier, as a result of consideration of this appeal, we sent recommendations to the local government of Kazan on the need to reconsider the issue of conclusion of an additional agreement with the son of the author of the appeal to the contract of social rent of housing and to make a decision on this issue, taking into account our arguments.
Within the framework of today's meeting the questions on fulfillment of the mentioned recommendations were discussed. Our arguments were heard by the local government of Kazan and we hope that the applicant's issue will be resolved positively in the near future.
This appeal remains under the control of the Commissioner.
