During the period of service, the participants of the SMO and their family members face various difficulties. One of them is debts to the state for payment of taxes, fines, etc. However, the legislation provides special status and benefits to the participants of FEE and their families. In particular, participants of SMO have the right to suspend the forced collection of debts from enforcement proceedings.

Thus, through the feedback platform we received a message from citizen K. on the issue of suspension of debt collection from a participant of a special military operation. The author reported that in April 2024 he sent a certificate of participation in the special military operation on the territories of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics and Ukraine to the bailiffs' office in Nizhnekamsk district. Employees of the bailiff service were supposed to suspend the debiting of funds from the serviceman's card, but the money continued to be debited. After sending this certificate again, the situation did not change.
We sent an appeal to the Main Department of the Federal Bailiff Service of the Republic of Tatarstan to resolve this issue. According to the information of the Main Department of the Federal Bailiff Service of the Republic of Tatarstan, the enforcement proceedings are currently suspended and the money will be returned to the settlement account.
