The problem of orphanhood is one of the most difficult to solve. Despite the measures implemented at various government levels, the low proportion of children who are adopted shows the need to improve the system of incentives for citizens wishing to adopt or foster children left without parental care.
Today during the day worked a «Hotline» «Women's attention» on the prevention of family dysfunction, social orphanhood and domestic conflicts.
Among the questions received was the provision of housing for orphans. Many questions were also received today from members of the families of those mobilized. Two Tatarstanis asked about domestic violence.
Issues of family dysfunction are an important topic - for three years now, after signing an agreement with the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Tatarstan, we receive daily information coming through the 112 system. This is the line where you need urgent help. This hotline also includes calls about dysfunctional family situations. Relatives, relatives and neighbors call. There are signals that people leave elderly citizens without attention and care, there are conflicts between spouses, which ultimately have a negative impact on the psychological state of children. There are calls with complaints that the husband or wife after the divorce does not allow to communicate with the children. There are many questions, and that's why today, together with members of the State Council and colleagues from relevant ministries and agencies, we take phone calls. We either give answers right away or take the appeals to work on.
During the «hot line» deputies and human rights activists, employees of the Office of the Human Rights Commissioner in Tatarstan, representatives of relevant ministries and agencies, taking turns, answered the calls, explained and gave professional advice.
The «Hotline» «Women's Attention» always arouses great interest. All in all, about 30 calls were received today. Hundreds of calls received as part of this action helped to solve the issues of women's health care, labor rights and social support for women, placement of children in educational institutions, school meals, etc.
