The Ombudsman of Tatarstan met with the new Consul General of the Republic of Uzbekistan. We have warm friendly relations with the Republic of Uzbekistan, and we have been closely cooperating with our colleagues from the consulate in protecting human and civil rights and freedoms for many years. Today we met the new Consul General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Kazan – Nadir Kasimov.
We try to make our visits to the area productive and cover as much as possible in one day.
Today I work in Mendeleyevsky district. It is extremely important for the Ombudsman to regularly travel to various districts of the Republic of Tatarstan to hold meetings, meetings with residents and solve emerging problems.
The second point of our working visit today was the Yelabuga municipal district. Held a meeting to review notifications received from citizens in the "Public Control" system. We reviewed 29 notifications from citizens with responsible executors. The issues mainly concern road repairs, the quality of housing and communal services, and landscaping.
The kindergarten building was put into operation in 1987. For 35 years of operation, the kindergarten building has not undergone major repairs. In 2022, I visited this kindergarten: it needed to replace windows, repair the water supply system, heating, electricity, ventilation, replace door units, sanitary facilities, heated floors in the groups on the first floor, carry out finishing works, repair the entrance groups and improve the territory. Indeed, the kindergarten needed major repairs, and thanks to the Rais of our republic, funds were allocated for these purposes.
