The Coordination Council of Commissioners for human rights of Russia took place in Moscow

On June 9-10 Moscow hosted the Coordination Council of Commissioners for human rights chaired by Ella Pamfilova, where the Commissioner for human rights in the Republic of Tatarstan Sariya Saburskaya took part.

Forms and methods of interaction between the federal and regional ombudsmen were discussed during the meeting.

Previously initiated legislative work on regulation and cooperation between federal and regional commissioners will be continued.

The topic of strengthening and further development of the institution of regional commissioners, as well as their interaction with the human rights community, mass media and authorities took special attention in reports.
