The International Forum and Discussion "Inclusion as a New Social Norm: Challenges and Solutions" is taking place in Kazan. The event is dedicated to developing an inclusive environment and supporting people with special needs.
Our employees, Victoria Kisapova, Lead Consultant of the Information and Analysis Department, and Albina Alekseeva, Lead Consultant of the Department for Restoring Citizens' Rights, participated in the event.
The forum brought together approximately 250 experts from various regions of Russia and abroad and was timed to coincide with the 10th anniversary of the "Kind Kazan" project, which has since formed a unique ecosystem uniting over 130 charitable organizations.
During the plenary session, issues related to supporting people with mental disabilities, their social and employment adaptation, which require a comprehensive and interdepartmental approach, were discussed.
The forum will run until April 24 and includes a number of educational and discussion events, including master classes, training sessions, and the "Amazing Inclusion" express grant competition, where the three best projects will receive funding.
