A joint offsite meeting of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Committee on Education, Culture, Science, and National Issues and the Committee's Expert Council was held at Kazan Federal University.
Parliamentarians discussed the implementation of the KFU Development Program within the framework of "Priority 2030" and also reviewed a draft law amending the republican law on education.
The university is actively involved in three national technological leadership projects: in the areas of new health-preserving technologies, industrial support for transport mobility, and new materials and chemistry. Of the 54 university projects, 52 received support from external experts and will form the basis of the "Priority 2030" program for 2026 and beyond.
In 2025, KFU graduated 37,763 specialists in a wide range of fields, and more than 40,000 people completed advanced training and professional retraining programs.
