The final meeting of the Medical Council of the Children's Republican Clinical Hospital on the results of activities for 2025 and tasks for 2026 was also held today.
In 2025, high-tech medical care continued, new treatment methods were introduced, unique operations were performed, and key healthcare projects were implemented.
The hospital has reached a record low infant mortality rate of 1.9 ppm. Tatarstan ranks 3rd in Russia in terms of infant mortality. 100% coverage of newborn care and preventive examinations of children under one year old was provided, which made it possible to detect diseases in a timely manner and refer patients to specialized clinics.
Priorities for 2026 include further reduction of preventable deaths, scaling successful projects such as the curatorial service to other age groups, as well as in-depth work on the prevention of socially determined threats to children's health. The development of surgery, perinatal care and palliative care services will continue.
