A meeting of the final Board of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan was held
A meeting of the final board of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan on the results of 2025 and the tasks for 2026 was held at the Kazan Expo IEC.
It was noted that the volume of agricultural products produced in the republic exceeded 400 billion rubles for the first time, which is 7.3% more than in 2024. The industry's share in the gross regional product is about 7%. Taking into account the food and processing industry, the total volume of products reached 772 billion rubles.
By the end of the year, 4.6 million tons of grain were produced with record grain yields of 35.9 c/ha, 2.25 million tons of sugar beet, 1 million tons of oilseeds, over 1 million tons of potatoes and 285 thousand tons of vegetables. Milk yield amounted to 2 million 378 thousand tons, the productivity of cows increased to 8,873 kg per year. By 2030, the goal is to bring this figure to 10 thousand kg per cow.
In 2025, 18 dairy complexes for 11 thousand cows were commissioned, and in 2026, 19 more facilities for 14.7 thousand cows will be implemented.
During the meeting, proposals for additional measures to support the industry were also announced. The Board ended with the presentation of state and departmental awards to employees of the agro-industrial complex.
