The appeal was resolved positively!
The Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Tatarstan received an appeal from a resident of Bugulma, citizen I., regarding her son, a serviceman, citizen A., who received a serious mine-explosive wound in the area of a special military operation.
Citizen A. was sent to a military medical institution, where his right lower limb was amputated. According to the conclusion of the military medical commission, the serviceman was assigned fitness category "G" - temporarily unfit for military service with exemption from duty for a period of 60 days. At the same time, due to his health, citizen A. needs a lower limb prosthesis, as well as psychological rehabilitation measures and referral to a military medical commission for a repeat medical examination in order to decide on his further fitness for military service.
Concerned about this situation, we immediately contacted the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation with a request to assist in organizing further treatment and rehabilitation.
Following the consideration of the request, the serviceman was sent to Samara to undergo a military medical commission in a hospital setting. After this, the serviceman will be sent to a specialized hospital for prosthetics.
