The appeal was resolved positively!

A resident of Kazan, citizen E., contacted the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Tatarstan with a complaint about the inaction of the management organization. She pointed out the non-compliance of water with sanitary requirements in the house on Gvardeyskaya Street, Bldg. 10, and also expressed disagreement with the accrued fee for utilities. According to the applicant, repeated appeals to supervisory authorities and the management organization did not yield results.

In order to protect the rights of the applicant, we contacted the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Tatarstan with a request to conduct an inspection and, if there are grounds, take response measures.

Based on the results of the prosecutor's inspection, it was established that the management organization did indeed violate the requirements of housing legislation when calculating contributions for major repairs. The prosecutor's office of the Sovietsky District sent a submission to the director of the management organization to eliminate the violations.

As for the water quality, it turned out that the temporary deterioration was due to repair work on the water supply networks carried out by the Municipal Unitary Enterprise Vodokanal. After washing the filters, the water was brought into compliance with sanitary standards, which was confirmed by laboratory tests. Water samples were taken from the apartment of citizen E., according to the results of which it was established that the quality of the supplied water complies with the established standards. Currently, the residents of the house are being recalculated for the period of provision of the poor quality water supply service.
