Today together with the Union of Pensioners we held a Legal Aid Day
Today, together with the Union of Pensioners, we held a Legal Aid Day, where everyone received free legal advice. Citizens' questions were answered by specialists from several departments:
✅Office of the Human Rights Commissioner in the Republic of Tatarstan;
✅Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Tatarstan;
✅Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan;
✅Branch of the Social Fund of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan;
✅State Housing Inspectorate of the Republic of Tatarstan;
✅Rosreestr Office in the Republic of Tatarstan;
✅Bar Association of the Republic of Tatarstan;
✅Notary Chamber of the Republic of Tatarstan;
✅Healthcare Department of Kazan.
25 requests from citizens were received and the questions concerned the increase in utility services due to the increase in the total area of a residential building, prescriptions for discounted drugs, the right to a medical examination, employment, registration of property rights, inheritance rights, the lack of recalculation of the amount of payment for major repairs, pension provision, the purchase and sale of an apartment, the activities of a magistrate in Moscow, there were also questions about housing and communal services. Each was given explanations and recommendations for further actions.
Such events are important because not everyone knows where to go with their problem, and within the framework of our Legal Aid Days, people receive answers directly from specialists.
