A gala event dedicated to International Women's Day was held in the new Galiaskar Kamal Theater. Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated the women on the holiday.
In his speech, he emphasized that International Women's Day is another reason to express words of recognition, admiration and respect to the beautiful half. "Each of you is unique. Your energy, determination and professionalism make our republic successful and prosperous," said Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Special words of gratitude were addressed to the mothers of military personnel. Rustam Minnikhanov noted their merit in raising patriots ready to defend the Motherland. He also addressed the wives of the military, emphasizing that it is their support that helps men maintain their fortitude.
At the end of the gala evening, Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan presented state awards. Mothers of many children from different cities and regions of the republic were awarded medals of the Order of Parental Glory and medals of Ana Dany – Maternal Glory.
