Today, at a meeting of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, I presented a report on activities to protect the rights of Tatarstan residents in 2024. This year, I received 5,417 requests. People contacted me not only with complaints about violations of their rights, but also for consultations and help in difficult life situations.

I paid special attention to issues related to participants in the special military operation and their families. All requests were considered promptly, and the measures taken made it possible to return compatriots from captivity and establish the location of military personnel. Meetings with the families of special military operation participants were held regularly in close cooperation with government agencies and the Fatherland Defenders Foundation.

There is a positive trend in the social sphere - the number of requests on the socio-economic rights of citizens has decreased, such as unjustified dismissal, registration of labor relations and problems in the education system. At the same time, attention continues to be paid to the rights of orphans and persons with disabilities. In addition, violations of the rights of citizens in private social service institutions were identified.

In 2024, I received 211 requests on education issues. In response, visits were made to educational organizations on citizens' complaints. The SIS RT "Public Control" received 182 notifications on the maintenance and repair of kindergartens, of which 112 (62%) were resolved positively. Thanks to the systemic measures taken by the leadership of the republic, the problem of shortage of places in preschool institutions has almost been solved. Basically, parents asked for assistance in providing children with places in preschool institutions within walking distance.
