In Naberezhnye Chelny, the number of small and medium-sized businesses is growing every year, today there are about 28 thousand of them. The turnover for the year increased by 8%. 356 residents operate on the territory of industrial parks. The number of employees in the parks increased by 9% and amounts to 20 thousand 985 employees.
The construction industry plays a key role in the development of industrial and social infrastructure, job creation and stimulation of economic growth. Over the past 10 years, the growth in housing provision has amounted to 24%. In the reporting year, another 23 apartment buildings were built. Including three under the social mortgage program - 510 apartments. In total, 222.7 thousand square meters of housing were commissioned in 2024. Last year, almost 15 billion rubles were attracted for the construction of the social sphere and infrastructure, including more than 3 billion rubles within the framework of national projects. Their implementation is aimed at improving the quality of life of the population.
In 2024, major repairs were carried out on 108 apartment buildings. This year, it is planned to repair another 127. As part of the "Our Yard" program, 71 courtyards were repaired last year, and 79 more will be improved this year.
One of the important tasks of the municipal government is to ensure road safety and improve the quality of city roads. At least 2.5 billion rubles are allocated annually for these purposes.
In 2024, major repairs were carried out on three city clinics: a hospital for war veterans, city clinic No. 4 (block A and block B), city clinic No. 7. In a number of subordinate institutions, 816 units of medical equipment were updated. The next important stage in the field of healthcare is the construction of a new building for city hospital No. 5. The land plot, with an area of 6 hectares, has already been identified.
The city's education system occupies a leading position in the republic in terms of the quality of education, educational work and the Olympiad movement. In the reporting year, 72 students received 100 points based on the results of the Unified State Exam. Last year, there were three times fewer. Work is also continuing to update the material and technical base of educational institutions. Over the past 10 years, 10 new schools have opened in the city.
In his speech, Rustam Minnikhanov noted that this year, which has been declared the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland in the country and in the republic, an important date is being celebrated - the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Today, the heirs of the generation of victors are selflessly fighting for their homeland in the special military operation zone.
Good conditions have been created in Naberezhnye Chelny for the development of small and medium-sized businesses - their share in the Gross Territorial Product reaches 34.5%. The business infrastructure is successfully developing in the city: Kama Industrial Park "Master", the "Haier" project, industrial parks, IT Park, the number of residents of the priority development areas is growing. At the same time, in the context of sustainable economic growth and expansion of production in the republic, there is a shortage of labor resources. The enterprises of the republic are actively working in this direction. Rustam Minnikhanov cited the KAMAZ company as an example. The company uses all available tools to attract specialists: increasing wages, measures to retain young people in the city, training young specialists, solving housing issues. In conclusion, Rustam Minnikhanov once again thanked the Naberezhnye Chelny residents for their daily work for the benefit of the development of the republic, and also presented a number of state awards.
