The Day of Legal Assistance to Convicts was held at the Federal State Institution Correctional colony No. 19
Convicts often face a variety of legal issues that require professional assistance.
A Legal Aid Day for Convicts was held at the Federal State Institution Correctional Colony No. 19 together with representatives of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Office of the Ministry of Justice of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan and the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan.
As part of the Legal Aid Day, convicts addressed a variety of issues, including medical and sanitary examinations, organization of dietary nutrition, enforcement proceedings, pension payments, document restoration, conditions of detention in temporary detention facilities, inheritance cases, registration of property, filing claims, the issue of transportation for surgery, as well as the implementation of the right of an orphan to receive housing. In addition, questions were received on housing law.
All those who addressed the issue were provided with the necessary assistance and explanations on the issues of interest to them. It is important to me that each convict can exercise their right to legal protection and receive support in resolving difficult situations.
