The final meeting of the board of the Ministry of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan was also held today in the new building of the Galiaskar Kamal Theater. The results of 2024 were summed up and plans for 2025 were outlined.
The share of the construction complex in the gross regional product of the republic was about 8%. The volume of work in the construction industry increased by 13% and reached 880 billion rubles. In 2024, a record was set for housing commissioning - 3.452 million square meters were commissioned. In 2025, it is planned to build another 3.26 million square meters.
44 republican programs, 6 national projects and 5 state programs have been successfully implemented in the republic. Over 3,700 facilities have been built and repaired within their framework.
One of the main tasks of the industry remains solving the personnel issue. The labor shortage amounts to 13.5 thousand vacancies. To eliminate it, it is planned to attract young specialists and increase the prestige of construction professions.
Rais Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov noted that the region takes part in all federal projects, having no debts on obligations. He emphasized that coordinated work with federal ministries, including the Ministry of Construction of Russia, opens up great opportunities for the republic.
In 2025, Tatarstan will continue to implement 48 programs, 6 national projects and 4 state programs aimed at improving the quality of life of citizens.
