Education is a process that is important at any age. It is especially valuable when it helps the older generation better understand issues that affect their everyday lives.

As part of the School of Legal Knowledge, together with the Regional Branch of the Union of Pensioners of Russia, we held a lesson on the topic: "What we pay for: how prices and tariffs for housing and communal services are formed." The meeting was rich and informative thanks to the speeches of the head of the department for working with citizens' appeals of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan on tariffs Dmitry Romanov, deputy head of the state housing inspector of the Republic of Tatarstan Natalya Voronskaya and the head of the Regional Branch of the Union of Pensioners of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan Lyubov Mishina.

The lesson covered the basic principles of forming tariffs for housing and communal services, as well as preferential mechanisms provided for certain categories of citizens. After the lecture, the students of the University of the "third age" asked many questions, for example, on calculating the cost of housing and communal services and cleaning the territory from snow. The dialogue was lively and useful.

We continue to work in this direction so that important information reaches everyone who needs it!
