Foreign students often face legal issues that require attention and support
Today we held the Day of Legal Assistance to Foreign Students, which took place at the Kazan State Conservatory named after N.G. Zhiganov. During the meeting, I spoke about the activities of the Commissioner's Office and how we can protect the rights of foreign students. We discussed important aspects of their stay in Russia, the rights and guarantees provided by law. The students' questions concerned obtaining a visa and residence permit, undergoing a medical examination and renting housing. All questions were considered in detail, and the students received the necessary explanations.
The event also featured the Chairman of the Chinese Diaspora Zhong Xianglong, representatives of the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan and the House of Friendship of Peoples.
