Attention to people with disabilities is our common duty.
Today in the Pestrechinsky municipal district, as part of the Decade of Disabled People, a round table was held on the topic of "Working with children and adults with disabilities. Social adaptation."
♿Today, 3,628 people with disabilities live in the district, 328 of whom are children, the number of disabled people of the first group is 279 people.
In my speech, I talked about the activities of the Commissioner for Human Rights, paying special attention to issues of helping people with disabilities and their families. During the meeting, citizens were able to ask their questions. Among them - the lack of a pediatric endocrinologist in the district hospital, a request to organize swimming lessons for a woman with disabilities, problems with the provision of social housing, as well as issues related to benefits and payments.
Citizens expressed gratitude for the attention and support. Only together can we create conditions in which every person feels protected and needed!
