In the Administration of the Federal Penitentiary Service of the Republic of Tatarstan, with the participation of a representative of the Office of the Human Rights Ombudsman in the Republic of Tatarstan, a day of legal assistance to convicts held in Federal State Institution penal colony No. 19 of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan was held in the format of a video conference. Such days are no longer a rarity for us, but an established and well-established practice.
Appeals were received from 10 people. Together with representatives of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Office of the Ministry of Justice of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, the necessary specific recommendations and explanations were given on issues of establishing disability and receiving medical care in correctional institutions, receiving housing for orphans, providing assistance in repairing the roof of a residential building and other issues.
