Meeting of the Committee on Education, Culture, Science and National Issues of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan
Today an employee of the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Tatarstan took part in an off-site meeting of the Committee of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan on Education, Culture, Science and National Issues, which was held at the Kazan State Conservatory named after N.G. Zhiganov.
The meeting discussed the issues of development of scientific and educational cluster on the basis of this educational institution, considered the results of monitoring of the republican law on libraries and librarianship, information of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan on admission to the first classes of general educational institutions, approved the report on the work of the Committee for the period of the spring session.
Before the beginning of the plenary part, the deputies and invited guests familiarized themselves with the activities of the Conservatory, toured the classrooms, rehearsal halls, talked to teachers and students.
