Friends, we share good news with you!

The State Duma of the Russian Federation has passed a law on expanding support measures for young specialists. According to the law, a young specialist will be considered to be a person who is employed for the first time in his or her specialty, regardless of previous work experience.

Amendments are made to the law “On Youth Policy in the Russian Federation”. The document clarifies the concept of “young specialist”: it will be recognized as “a young citizen who has work experience obtained during the period of training in basic professional educational programs and (or) vocational training programs”.

The concept of “young worker” is introduced - a citizen of the Russian Federation under the age of 35 years inclusive, who has a work experience of not more than three years and does not belong to the category of “young specialist”. The Law on Amendments to the Federal Law “On Youth Policy in the Russian Federation” enters into force on the day of its official publication.
