I think we can all agree that we are living in an era of global and rapid digitization in all spheres of human life. Through the Internet we learn both undeniably useful information and to some extent dangerous: for children with their fragile psyches, for gullible elderly, and for all people.
Scientific and practical discussion on the topic «Violence in the network: new challenges and problems of qualification» took place today at the Kazan Federal University.
Very acute and at the same time topical issues were raised during the discussion. Digital reality dictates the need to improve the regulatory and legal regulation of online formats of interaction between citizens and public authorities, as well as citizens with each other.
Our legislation in this regard is not static, but much remains to be done to ensure that digitalization does not complicate, but rather fully facilitates, speeds up and optimizes the process of ensuring and protecting the rights and freedoms of citizens.
