Familiarization to the work of prosthetic and orthopedic enterprises

October 3, 2017, the Commissioner for human rights in the Republic of Tatarstan Sariya Saburskaya, together with the Deputy head of the State institution - regional branch of Fund of social insurance of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Tatarstan K. S. Fatykhova visited the prosthetic and orthopedic enterprises of Kazan: LLC "Support", Federal state unitary enterprise "Kazan prosthetic-orthopedic enterprise", LLC "Rehabilitation of disabled", LLC "Center of prosthetics and orthotics".

To remind, on September 6, 2017, the Commissioner for human rights in the Republic of Tatarstan held a telephone "hot line" for the population on the issues of observance of the rights of disabled people in the Republic of Tatarstan in terms of providing them with technical means of rehabilitation. Some of the appeals concerned the quality of technical rehabilitation equipment supplied to disabled people.

As part of the visit, workshops were held with the heads of prosthetic and orthopedic enterprises, inspection of production.

In order to solve the quality issues of other problematic issues related to the manufactured technical means of rehabilitation, the Authorized person is supposed to hold a meeting of the "round table" with the participation of the State institution - the regional Department of the social insurance Fund of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Tatarstan, heads of prosthetic and orthopedic enterprises and other interested authorities.
