During working visit to the Republic of Tatarstan Extraordinary and Authorized Ambassador of the Republic of Austria to the Russian Federation, Emil Brix, visited the office of Tatar Ombudsman, where he got acquainted with the work of Sariya Saburskaya and the Department.

The Commissioner for Human rights in the Republic of Tatarstan Sariya Saburskaya and the Minister of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan Adel Vafin held a joint reception of citizens.

Today 3 April, the commissioner for human rights in the Republic of Tatarstan Sariya Saburskaya takes part in the 17th Alliance against Trafficking in Persons Conference “trafficking in children and the best interests of the child”, the event was organized by OSCE Office of the Special Representative and Co-ordinator for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings.

On January 31, Prime Minister of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov took part in a session of the expert council under the Commissioner for human rights in the Republic of Tatarstan (Korston hotel, Kazan).

The Commissioner for human rights in the Republic of Tatarstan and the "Union of pensioners of Russia" held a Day of legal aid to the population in the Management of the Pension Fund of Russia in the Novo-Savinovsky district of Kazan on December 21.

Sariya Saburskaya visited military unit 34096 located in the territory of the Republic of Mary El on December 19. The Commissioner inspected military living conditions, dining room, classrooms, training ground.

The 5-day training seminar for the leading experts of the project"Russian Public Monitoring Commission - the new generation" is being held in Kazan on 13- 17 December, 2016.  This is a joint project of the Commissioner for human rights in the Russian Federation and the Directorate for the protection of human rights of the Council of Europe.

The Commissioner for human rights in the Republic of Tatarstan jointly with the Office of the Federal service of execution of punishments of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstanheld a day of legal aid to persons held in detention in the prison camp-5 on December 15.

The Commissioner for human rights in the Republic of Tatarstan SariyaSaburskayaconducted the working meeting with the head of the Centre for temporary detention of foreign citizens and individuals without citizenship, Ministry of internal Affairs of Russia in Republic of Tatarstan, SalikhovLinar on December 14, 2016.

Office of the Ombudsman in the Republic of Tatarstan held the All-Russian day of citizens reception on December 12. In total 14 citizens addressed the Commissioner and the Commissioner SariyaSaburskayatook 12 people personally.
