2016 elections

The Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Tatarstan held a monitoring of compliance with the rights of citizens in the elections in a single day of voting September 18, 2016.

So, there have been tests of maintenance of the implementation of the electoral rights and certain categories of citizens, visited a number of polling stations in the city of Kazan and the village Novosheshminsky.

In the visited polling stations  monitoring of  the vote, the actions of election Commission members, including issuance of ballots to voters, verify of documents of citizens, etc were organized. At the polling stations visited requirements of the legislation on protection of electoral rights have been complied with in full, no violations found.

In order to exercise public control over observance of electoral rights of citizens, timely response to the issues and voters reported the order and timing of electoral actions, irregularities associated with the process of voting, the Central Election Republic of Tatarstan Commission organized the "hot-line" for monitoring information on violations electoral rights of citizens, including in the single day of voting.
