We constantly monitor the rights of those serving sentences.

Today, Azat Khusainov, Lead Consultant for the Department for the Restoration of Citizens' Rights at the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Tatarstan, visited Precinct No. 5 of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia's Correctional Center No. 1 in the Republic of Tatarstan. During the visit, the living conditions of the inmates were inspected and interviews were held with those serving sentences.

Furthermore, a visit was made to the village of Derbyshki, where the inmates work. We spoke with the inmates at their workplaces. No complaints were raised during the interview, and they are satisfied with the work organization. They are provided with the necessary special clothing for work, and, according to the inmates, wages are paid on time and in the amount stipulated in the contract.

We also met with representatives of the enterprise where the inmates are employed. According to them, this interaction is systematic and based on mutual understanding. There were also no complaints or comments from the company's representatives regarding the convicted persons.
