The appeal was resolved positively!

Men I., a citizen of the Republic of Uzbekistan, contacted the Office of the Human Rights Commissioner of the Republic of Tatarstan with a request for assistance in overturning the decision banning him from entering the Russian Federation.

The appeal and accompanying documents indicate that Mr. I. was born and raised in Kazan, studied there, and lived in his grandmother's house since childhood. The applicant's family has resided in the Russian Federation since 2004.

At the same time, the entry ban was imposed solely due to administrative violations committed by his mother. Mr. I. was a minor at the time of the decision and was unable to influence the situation, nor was he able to independently regulate his legal status in accordance with the law.

After the ban was issued, the applicant's family was forced to leave Russia, and initially they had to live right at the airport, as they had no relatives or accommodation in Uzbekistan.

To protect the applicant's rights, we appealed to the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan to review this decision. Following the review, the entry ban against citizen I. was lifted, and he was able to return to the Russian Federation.
