This week, public assistants to the Human Rights Commissioner of the Republic of Tatarstan continued their active and attentive work with citizens' requests throughout the republic.
🔷 In Kazan, public assistant Gulia Balafendyeva visited Pretrial Detention Facility No. 1 of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan: no complaints were received from pretrial detainees. She also visited Temporary Detention Facility No. 1 in Kazan and Federal Correctional Institution IK-10 in Mendeleyevsk.
🔷 In the Kamsko-Ustinsky District, they attended a meeting of the commission on providing state social support to low-income citizens. They reviewed requests for small business development and employment. They also attended the opening of new feldsher-midwife stations and a community center in the village of Chelny, attended by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan. 🔷 In the Leninogorsk District, they attended the opening of the "Father of a Hero" exhibition, featuring photographs of SVO participants and their fathers.
🔷 In Naberezhnye Chelny, they participated in public hearings on the draft city budget for 2026, as well as the grand opening ceremony of the Orthodox Gymnasium, attended by Metropolitan Kirill of Kazan and Tatarstan, Mayor N.G. Magdeev, and deputies of the State and City Councils.
🔷 In the Aksubaevsky District, they participated in a municipal district session. Six issues were on the agenda. They also attended an extended meeting of the Republican Commission on Minors and the Protection of Their Rights, with the participation of Svetlana Zakharova, Children's Rights Commissioner of the Republic of Tatarstan.
🔷 In the Pestrechinsky District, a meeting was held with Rasim Baksikov, Deputy Minister of Labor, Employment, and Social Protection and Hero of Russia. The focus was on protecting the rights of military personnel and their families.
🔷 In the Arsk District, participants participated in a rally to mark the dispatch of the next humanitarian convoy to the SVO zone.
🔷 In the Atninsky District, participants participated in an extended meeting of the Commission on Minors' Affairs and the Protection of Their Rights, where they discussed the availability of sports infrastructure and the importance of developing clubs and activities to improve the health of children and adolescents.
🔷 In the Spassky District, a meeting was held with the head of the district, R.L. Islanov, and the deputy head of the executive committee, G.G. Khodzhieva. At the meeting, joint activities were discussed, further steps to protect citizens' rights were outlined, and problematic issues requiring attention were identified.
🔷 In the Yelabuga District, a meeting was held with the curator and families of SVO participants. The discussion focused on everyday issues, rehabilitation, and employment. In addition, a working meeting was held with the management of the Astra Rehabilitation Center and representatives of the Yelabuga District Social Fund regarding the institution's participation in a federal pilot project for the comprehensive rehabilitation of children with disabilities using an electronic certificate.
🔷 In the Cheremshansky District, we participated in a visiting commission to identify family problems, focusing on children's living conditions, food and clothing supplies, the presence of fire alarms, and electrical safety.
🔷 In the Aktanyshsky District, a meeting of the PMPK commission was held at the Ikhlas PPS, where issues of psychological and pedagogical support for both students and families of SVO participants were discussed.
🔷 In the Bavlinsky District, we met with the acting district prosecutor, Fanil Kadirov, to discuss mutual cooperation, including joint citizen receptions and the participation of our public assistant in verification activities.
🔷 Citizen receptions continued in several districts: in the Kamsko-Ustinsky and Pestrechinsky districts, with district heads, and in the Agryz district, with representatives from the Social Fund Department.
🔷 Our community assistants from the Pestrechinsky and Arsky districts also participated in meetings of the draft boards.
