The Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Republic of Tatarstan held a meeting regarding the complaint by citizen L., who reported the inadequate maintenance of common property and utility systems in apartment building No. 35 on Gudovantseva Street in Kazan.
According to the complainant, the building's stairwells have been in poor condition for a long time, water pipes regularly break, and the sewer system is malfunctioning. Furthermore, the heating was only turned on this week, and residents of the ground floors have repeatedly experienced flooding in their apartments and overflowing sewer manholes.
To find a solution and coordinate actions, we held a meeting with the Prosecutor of the Moscow District of Kazan, representatives of the State Housing Inspectorate of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Kazan Housing and Utilities Committee, the Municipal Unitary Enterprise Vodokanal, Kazan Heating Networks, and the management company Olmax LLC.
During the discussion, the need for prompt repairs to the common property of the apartment building was noted. The management company was advised to carry out priority repairs.
The issues raised at the meeting remain under our control!
