Today, the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan Awards for contributions to the development of civil society institutions in the Republic of Tatarstan were presented at the Kazan Kremlin.
At the ceremony, Rustam Minnikhanov, welcoming the laureates, noted that this is the 10th awards ceremony for the republican award for contributions to the development of civil society institutions.
The laureates include Alexander Borodin, Chairman of the Union of Veterans of the Republic of Tatarstan; Tatyana Titova, an expert in anthropology, ethnology, and interethnic relations; the Ak Bars Sozidanie Charitable Foundation; the regional public organization "Maritime Assembly of the Republic of Tatarstan"; the Mordvin National Cultural Autonomy of the Republic of Tatarstan; the regional branch of the All-Russian Organization of Disabled People "All-Russian Society of the Blind"; and the Tatarstan regional branch of the Association of Lawyers of Russia.
"Dear friends, your work exemplifies service to society and civic responsibility," Rustam Minnikhanov addressed the ceremony participants. "I sincerely thank each of you for your commitment and active stance, your dedication to the republic and the country. You are doing important and noble work! I congratulate you on your well-deserved awards and wish you health, prosperity, and new achievements."
