At the fifteenth meeting of the State Council of Tatarstan, held with the participation of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, the draft republican budget for 2026 and the 2027-2028 planning period were reviewed.
Finance Minister Marat Fayzrakhmanov announced that budget revenues for 2026 are projected at 498.2 billion rubles, with expenditures at 512 billion rubles. The deficit will be 13.8 billion rubles. Similar figures are projected for the consolidated budget: revenues of 604.8 billion rubles and expenditures of 618.6 billion rubles.
The main revenues will come from corporate income tax (130 billion rubles), personal income tax (165 billion rubles), excise taxes, property tax, and non-tax revenues.
In the expenditure structure, priority is given to socially significant areas: the implementation of existing programs, the construction and modernization of social facilities, wage increases, capital investments, and the formation of reserves.
The need to analyze risks to the financial stability of enterprises and municipalities in the current economic conditions was also noted.
