Classes at the School of Legal Knowledge for students of the University of the Third Age have started again!
Today, we opened a new lecture series as part of the School of Legal Knowledge for students of the University of the Third Age. This is always a special, very warm audience – people with an active lifestyle who want to stay informed about their rights and opportunities.
The first lesson was devoted to the topic "Pension Rights: Brief and Clear." We discussed the calculation and indexation of pensions, social benefits, and free services available to senior citizens. We introduced our students to the republic's project for the senior generation, "Altyn Yellar - Golden Years," and taught them how to use a website that provides accessible classes for citizens.
Representatives of the Office of the Social Fund of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Labor, Employment, and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan addressed the audience.
Following the lecture, participants were able to ask questions. The most pressing questions were about the pension calculation procedure, the formation of insurance experience, the receipt of pension payments, and compensation for capital repairs. There were also questions about tax deductions. All questions were answered in detail and given practical recommendations.
Each session of the Legal Knowledge School is a step toward awareness and confident control of your rights!
