This week, public assistants to the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Republic of Tatarstan continued their active work on the ground.
As part of the ten-day event marking the International Day of Older Persons, in the Leninogorsk District, together with the Executive Secretary of the United Russia party, I.P. Khramov, they visited labor veterans M.Kh. Tazavova and T. Safargalieva, who were presented with commemorative gifts. In Nizhnekamsk, together with the city prosecutor, I. Gayanov, they congratulated an elderly resident of the district, Galiya Zholos.
In the Pestrechinsky District, Zulfiya Gilmutdinova, Head of the Department for the Restoration of Citizens' Rights of the Office of the Human Rights Commissioner of the Republic of Tatarstan, and the Secretary of the District Commission on Minors' Affairs, participated in a meeting of the visiting working group.
In the Kaibitsky District, together with Father Vladimir Mironov, rector of the Bolshe-Podberezensky Church, and with the support of the Kazan Mercy Assistance Service for the Needy, cash vouchers for winter clothing were presented to children left without parental care, one of whom died during a special military operation. The guardians used the vouchers to purchase winter clothing for the children.
In the Kamsko-Ustinsky District, a meeting of the Housing Commission of the Kamsko-Ustinsky District Executive Committee was attended.
In the Yutazinsky District, a meeting of deputies of the fifth convocation of the Yutazinsky District Council of the Republic of Tatarstan was attended.
In the Arsky District, a senior assistant prosecutor conducted an inspection of a temporary detention facility. Interviews were held with those detained on administrative charges; no complaints were received. Living conditions at the Arsky Nursing Home for the Elderly and Disabled were also inspected. No violations were found.
Gulia Balafendieva, a public assistant in Kazan, visited Penal Colony No. 5 in the village of Nizhnyn-Vyazovye in the Zelenodolsk District.
In addition, our public assistants from the Nizhnekamsk, Atninsky, Arsky, Yutazinsky, and Bavlinsky Districts participated in the autumn conscription campaign.
Joint citizen meetings with district heads were held in the Pestrechinsky and Arsky Districts.
