We received a request from a Kazan resident, citizen N. He reported that a man had been living in the stairwell of their apartment building for a long time, violating fire and sanitary regulations, creating a safety threat to neighbors.
The situation required immediate intervention, and we contacted the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan with a request to provide assistance to a citizen who found himself in such a difficult life situation.
After our request, the necessary measures were taken. The man was placed on inpatient social services at the State Autonomous Institution of Social Services "Center for Social Adaptation for Persons Without a Fixed Place of Residence and Occupation "Mercy" in the urban district of "Kazan".
I would like to note that we work with such requests on a daily basis. For each signal, we organize trips of the social patrol of thenon-profit organization "Center for Social Rehabilitation "Priyut Cheloveka". Patrol officers search for homeless people, offer them assistance, medical support, the possibility of temporary accommodation in a shelter and assistance in restoring documents.
