We recently received an appeal from a resident of the Pestrechinsky District, citizen S., on behalf of her ex-husband, citizen A. The man lives alone, suffers from a mental disorder and requires constant care in a specialized institution. Citizen S., who herself has a serious illness, could not fully provide full care for citizen A.
According to the applicant, citizen A. was on the waiting list for placement in a boarding house for citizens with mental disorders, but for more than two months his turn did not move.
To protect the rights of citizen A., we immediately contacted the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan with a request to assist in placing citizen A. in a social service institution. As a result, the situation was resolved - citizen A. became a recipient of social services in the State Autonomous Institution of Social Services "Novo-Churilinsky Boarding House for Citizens with Mental Disorders".
I am glad that we were able to quickly get involved in the situation and help the person receive the necessary care and support.
