Took part in the awarding of the first winners of the "Grants for Newlyweds" competition in the Government Offices
Today I took part in the awarding of the first winners of the "Grants for Newlyweds" competition, which started in Tatarstan this summer. The ceremony was held in the Government Offices on the territory of the Kazan Kremlin.
I would like to note that such a competition, launched by the Ministry of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan, has no analogues in Russia and is being held for the first time. As part of this initiative, young couples entering into marriage can receive a grant of 100 thousand rubles to hold a wedding celebration in a special thematic format.
Today, 20 couples received grants. Among them are interethnic families, couples who combine the traditions of different peoples. There were a lot of applications for the competition, and each of them is worthy of admiration. In total, 80 newlywed families will receive grants by the end of the year.
