Serving in the army is an honor and a privilege!

Today I am on a working visit to the Leningrad Region and St. Petersburg to visit a military unit where young men from the Republic of Tatarstan are doing their military service.

This is a special area of our work, which began in 2011, during which time I have visited about 200 military units. I always treat the guys with special trepidation, because I often communicate with their mothers, who turn to me with concern for their sons.

Every year we publish a "Conscript's Handbook", which is given to everyone at the recruiting station. Our goal is to convey to the guys that Tatarstan always advocates for its residents, that if they have questions, they can contact us.
