The Office held a meeting with heads of non-profit organizations from different regions of Russia
Today, the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Tatarstan hosted a meeting with heads of non-profit organizations from different regions of Russia. For me, this is always an opportunity to exchange experiences, talk about our practices and, of course, listen to colleagues.
There are about 6,000 registered non-profit organizations in Tatarstan. We have been working with a number of public organizations for many years - with some of them since the very beginning of my work as Commissioner, for more than 10 years. During this time, we have managed to conclude more than 60 cooperation agreements. Each of them has specific actions, important initiatives and real stories of help.
I am always glad to have such meetings. We are open to dialogue and joint work to protect human rights and interests!
