Today, our Office staff members gave a lecture to students of Kazan State Medical University.
As part of our cooperation with the Faculty of Social Work of Kazan State Medical University, we talked about human rights and children's rights. Head of the Information and Analysis Department Adelina Mursalimova and Head of the Department for Coordination of Interaction of Users of the SIS RT "Public Control" Indira Valiullina told the students about the activities of the Office, about the law that regulates the work of the Human Rights Commissioner in the Republic of Tatarstan, and how citizens' appeals are considered.
We also discussed the importance of digital tools in protecting human rights, in particular, the SIS RT "Public Control" system, with the help of which residents can report problems. We analyzed specific examples from practice, discussed what difficulties people face and how we can help them.
