Today in the Federal Penitentiary Institution KP-18 we held a Legal Aid Day for convicts
The right to legal assistance belongs to everyone, and convicts are no exception!
Today, the Federal Penitentiary Institution penal colony No. 18 held a Legal Aid Day for convicts. The event was attended by representatives of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Office of the Ministry of Justice of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, and the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan.
During the Legal Aid Day, convicts addressed questions about hospitalization in a medical institution, registration for housing after release, inaction of bailiffs, disagreement with registration for preventive care, as well as transfer to a place of residence for further serving of a sentence. Explanations and recommendations were given for each request.
The law gives every person the right to seek help, and our task is to promptly respond and analyze each situation. The questions received today are under control, and work in this area will continue.
