Today, the Kazan-Expo IEC hosted a meeting of the final board of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan. The head of the department, Oleg Korobchenko, delivered a report.

In 2024, the volume of shipped products in the republic exceeded 5.6 trillion rubles, the industrial production index was 105%, and the growth in shipments was 19.2%. Oil production and oil refining remain key industries: despite the decline in oil production due to quotas, refining remained at the level of last year.

The republic has adopted a program for the development of the oil and gas chemical complex for 2025-2029, including more than 50 investment projects with an estimated investment of 1 trillion rubles. Among the key tasks for 2025 is maintaining the planned oil production volumes and exploratory drilling.

Retail turnover in 2024 reached 1.61 trillion rubles, which is 200 billion rubles more than the year before.

The Rais of Tatarstan noted that in the current economic conditions, systematic economic development continues. Enterprises were able to build new cooperation and logistics ties, as well as implement import substitution projects.

The Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan also proposed the mandatory use of domestic equipment in public procurement, construction and mining. Another important initiative of the minister is the development of dual education and a program for the construction of dormitories to attract young people to industry.

"Such production indicators are, first of all, the work of our enterprises, the work of large teams," Rustam Nurgalievich said, speaking with a closing speech.
