The delegations are headed by the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Komi Republic Vera Zheleztsova and the Commissioner for Human Rights in St. Petersburg Svetlana Agapitova.
As part of the meeting, we held a round table, where we shared our work experience and spoke in detail about the functioning of the rehabilitation squads operating on the basis of the Federal Penitentiary Institutions Penal colony No. 19 and Penal Colony No. 2. This program helps convicts to socialize and rebuild their lives.
Next, a visit to the correctional colonies Penal colony No. 19 and Penal colony No. 12 is planned in order to get acquainted with the conditions of detention and the work of the rehabilitation squads on the spot.
