What innovations in education await schoolchildren in the new year?

Changes will affect students, their parents and teachers in the very near future - from September 2, i.e. from the beginning of the next school year.

As for infrastructural changes, they mean the opening of new educational institutions. This year 11 of them are to appear throughout the republic, including 10 new kindergartens with a total capacity of more than 10 thousand places. In addition, major repairs of old buildings of 49 schools, 20 kindergartens, 4 vocational training institutions, 14 dormitories, 94 school canteens are nearing completion, two gymnasiums are being repaired and equipped with sports equipment under a separate program.

The key organizational change will be in the federal law “On Education”. It concerns the use of cell phones and other gadgets in lessons. Now the law clearly states that cell phones are prohibited in the educational process.

Federal tests have been streamlined. If earlier federal and regional tests had a chaotic order, now we have only one international study based on the PISA model. It will not be conducted this year. Among the federal control works there are two remaining - Nika, only for 8th grades of 19 schools, not for all, and the All-Russian Verification Work.

In addition, the All-Russian testing tests will not be held unexpectedly, as it used to be; they will be included in the class schedule. In other words, the time of the All-Russian tests will be known in advance.

Instead of the familiar subject “Technology” there will be its upgrade - “Labor (technology)”. A number of modules and topics are added to the updated discipline. They are related to career guidance. OBG will now be called “Fundamentals of Safety and Defense of the Homeland”. Within the framework of the subject will be held and training camps of initial military training. But the same teachers will remain.

In connection with the emergence of new regions in Russia, changes are expected in the subject “Geography”.

“Literature” has also undergone some adjustment. Some of the authors were excluded, and some were added. The world-famous bestseller - books about Harry Potter by the writer Joanne Rowling, Victor Pelevin - were excluded.

Classics of Russian literature will be repeated in high schools.

And also in the Year of the Family it is planned to hold classes on family studies. Children will be told about how to create a strong family during after-school “Talks about important things”.
