During the Day of Legal Assistance to Convicts, the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Tatarstan received an appeal from convict S. requesting assistance in obtaining a combat veteran's certificate.
According to the submitted documents S. took part in a special military operation on the territory of the LPR and DPR. The applicant was also awarded the medal “For Bravery” for his valiant service. Upon his return to the republic, S. wrote an application for the issuance of a certificate of veteran of combat operations, which he handed over together with the documents to the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation. According to S., he did not know about the status of his application, which is why he decided to contact us.
As a result of studying the application, it was decided to contact the “Defenders of the Fatherland” Foundation with a request to inform the applicant about the status of his application for a combat veteran's certificate.
The other day we received the happy news that S. received a combat veteran's certificate, which is also recorded in the issuance sheet.
