Victory Day in Pestrechi District of Tatarstan

This year we celebrate the 79th anniversary of these events and every year we feel their importance more acutely. The victory of May 1945 is a huge contribution of our fathers, grandfathers and great-grandfathers.

7780 people from Pestrechi district were drafted to the front. Only 1100 of them returned home alive. Today there are 3 veterans of the Great Patriotic War in the district.

A concert in honor of Victory Day with dances and songs was held in the central square of the district, and a solemn meeting was held in the Victory Park, during which flowers were laid at the foot of the monument to the fallen.
